How can I search the database?

The simple search form allows the database to be searched by word or phrase. All fields are searched simultaneously.

Please note: Multiple search terms are treated as a phrase. For instance, you may search for "heat island" or "sustainable development."

By truncating a term, such as "cool community," all possible variations will be retrieved. In this case "communit" will retrieve "community" and "communities."

Avoid using broad terms like "cement" or "concrete." Use narrower terms such as "parking lot," or "greenhouse," or "carbon dioxide."

The results can be narrowed by using the "Find" function of your browser to search for additional terms.

If you have any questions or problems, call Bill Burns at 847.972-9176, or e-mail wburns@cement.org
